Making earrings ia a very simple process and a good way to use up your odd beads.
How to Turn Your Headpin
Taking a headpin thread on a selection of glass beads leaving 1cm at the top of the headpin to allow for turning. Using round nose pliers take the tip of the headpin and turn the end to form a crook shape.
How to Create a Loop
Next take your round nose pliers and replace them either side of the longer side of the headpin and bend the wire back to form a question mark.
To Finish the Loop
Place the round nose pliers back at the tip of the headpin and roll the end over to form a complete circle. You can adjust this by repeating these two steps until a neat centred circle is formed.
How to Attach the Earwire
Using your chain nose pliers open the small loop at the base of the ear wire and place the loop of the headpin over it. Gently close the ear wire loop with your chain nose pliers. Repeat the process for the second earring.
You can cut the head pin to any size but remember to leave 1cm for turning.
