Crimp Beads

Crimp beads are available in both a metal alloy and in precious metals.

How to Use Crimp Beads

Crimp beads are small metal beads which are used to keep your beads in place on the beading wire.
They can be either a tube shape or a bead shape and are flattened into place with a pair of chain nose pliers.

How to hide a Crimp Bead

A crimp bead can be left showing as part of your beadwork or it can be covered with a Crimp Cover which is an open metal bead which is placed over the crimp and gently closed over the crimp bead to form a spacer bead.
Alternatively the crimp can be hidden inside a calotte, clam shell or bead tip.
